This Recommended Service Bulletin (RSB) applies to P.180 MSN 3011 to 3016 aircraft.
During a scheduled inspection, one operator reported the presence of one wrong washer in the fastener hardware that attaches the elevator hinge fitting to the horizontal stabilizer assembly. This RSB provides the instructions for a one-time inspection and restoration if required,
of the correct fastener configuration on LH and RH elevators.
MANPOWER This RSB may be accomplished in approximately two man-hours (elevator assemblies not removed).
NOTE: it is assumed that the aircraft has been placed in a maintenance status. These estimates assume that the work will be done by experienced personnel and may need to be revised to suit the operator’s circumstances. Estimated man-hours do not include work planning and preparation, procurement of parts and tools, curing/drying times (when applicable), and the time required to return the aircraft to flyable status.
